Our story
We met on the Delhi Metro in 2019. Four years of long distance later, here we are. We each tell it a little differently.

Mar 2019How we met
“A lost Canadian with a paper map at Rajiv Chowk. I got off three stations early to help him.”
“She said 'Blue Line, towards Dwarka' like it was obvious. I followed her anyway.”
Mar 2019First chai
“He asked for coffee at a chai stall. I've never let him forget it.”
“Best coffee I ever had was chai.”
2020–2023Long distance
“Four years, a 9.5-hour time difference, and 'reached home?' every single night.”
“I learned to say 'reached home?' before 'good morning'.”
Dec 2022First snow
“I visited Toronto in December. Never again. Except, of course, every year since.”
“She wore three sweaters and still called it 'bahut thand'.”
Oct 2025The proposal
“He took me on the Blue Line again, same route. At Rajiv Chowk he got down on one knee.”
“The whole coach clapped. One uncle asked if the ring was real.”
Feb 2026Roka
“Both families, one very loud dinner, and Ajji's first butter chicken.”
“My mother and hers have a WhatsApp group now. We are not in it.”
